What is it all about?

My jewellery objects are the result of intuition and conversation with the materials I use and the forms that I create. By using porcelain I challenge the preconceived perception that porcelain is a material to fragile for jewellery, I attempt to overcome this misconception and give it new unexpected wearable qualities.

I make pieces with the utmost attention to detail, crafted to be worn, enjoyed and treasured. Through my work I suggest that art, craft and design are ultimately about relationships between the makers of things and the individuals who become the possessors and users of those things. I believe that by selecting and using these objects, the wearer completes the creative process that I have begun.
